Tortoise Penny sandals

I absolutely love these sandals! I first saw a woman wearing them while we were waiting in a cashier line. I admired them to her and she told me that they were J. Crew. I looked online and found them! I followed the advice of a couple of reviewers and sized up 1/2 a size. I wear a size 5 1/2 narrow to medium and bought a size 6. They arrived today and fit me perfectly! Such a fun pair of sandals! The heel is the perfect size and height for wearing all day and the tortoise shell is so tres chic! I love the sandals but ordered my usual J.Crew 7.5 and were way too small. 8 was sold out so I tried the 8.5, which are slightly too big (thinking of keeping since they are so cute.). So sad. They do look like a bit like plastic, but I love the heal height and tortoise. I bought to wear w/ tortoise earrings and belt with dresses and skirts. Holding out that an 8 will re-appear.

I really want to love them but they run pretty small and hurt my feet badly.

These shoes are so cute. The heel is stable and a great height. However, the toe straps are SO incredibly painful. I have worn 4 inch heels that are more comfortable. The plastic coating over the leather doesn't help either. If you have narrow feet they should work, but I can't wear them again.

These are pretty and comfortable and the color and style will go with most everything. I usually wear size 5.5 or 6. 6.5 is a good size for me with J Crew shoes. I am very pleased with my purchase.

This sandal is perfect for dressing up or down. Just a little breaking in required, but nothing like the painful blisters and cuts from other shoes and sandals. Very attractive on the feet.
