we craft these durable pants from heavy-duty 12-ounce 100 percent cotton duck canvas. This pair features a relaxed fit that tapers slightly below the knee, with a longer rise and an 18'' leg opening. Details like a crisp, hard-pressed crease, classic coin pocket and affixed cuffs pay homage to the original rugged styles that have stood the test of time. Fun fact: Duck canvas is the same material used for Dutch navy uniforms in the 18th century (in fact, "duck" comes from doek, the Dutch word for linen canvas).
